Neo's Story
I was at the point of my life where I had just moved to another city, losing my family, friends, and lifestyle. All of that contributed to emotional eating and weight gain. But after two years I got up to 216 lbs., the most overweight I had been my whole life. I knew I had to eat right and exercise, but I just would rather do anything else before giving up that bacon and eggs breakfast, or even less, get on a treadmill.
At
first I changed my eating habits just a little bit, but not much. It was
especially discouraging because I remembered my past slim lifestyle. I
realized that in the past I had actually been eating MORE than I was now,
but didn't gain weight...the answer...EXERCISE!
I had been a soccer player all my life, so when I moved and stopped playing
soccer, I gained weight. So, I started playing soccer again, lightly at
first. Also, I never told myself that it was exercise, but a fun sport.
As I got better at it, I started to lose weight and felt the best ever.
After just 6 months of playing soccer I had lost already 60 lbs. of fat,
and my body fat percentage had gone from 33% to a much more healthy 21%.
Now, I'm really healthy, and I did it by using my approach...HAVING FUN!!!
